The first grade excursion day started with a train ride to Arth-Goldau. The journey itself was really exciting and thrilling for the children. They ate the snacks they had brought with them and played little games.
When we arrived at the zoo, we were greeted right at the beginning by the "Magic Forest" - a fantastic indoor playground that made the children's imaginations run wild. So our visit started with an extended play time, which the children really enjoyed.
We continued on to the animals. We were very lucky and saw the new wolf and the bear straight away. We watched the heron catch a fish, stroked very young kids, saw baby rabbits, fed deer, saw many young animals, ...
The class also had a lot of fun climbing various rocks and exploring the cave path.
And of course there were more exciting playgrounds in the park.
Time flew by and before we knew it, it was already afternoon and time to travel back to school.
What a great day together.
