Our private kindergarten
Our kindergarten teacher follows the official curriculum of the Canton of Zurich. She works to impart various crafts, artistic and cognitive skills and ensures that children meet the primary school entrance criteria.
Projects, learning stations and workshops are fundamental parts of our lessons.
In our private kindergarten, the children learn to implement different social skills in a playful way.
In accordance with the curriculum of the Canton of Zurich, the kindergarten teacher teaches artistic, musical and cognitive activities as well as various crafts.
Projects, learning stations and workshops are part of our core methods. Learning by doing is the way to acquire and implement social skills.
Cognitive abilities and free play are equally important, as are fine and gross motor skills. Handicrafts, artwork and gymnastics are also part of the program. The rhythmic pattern of the lessons is matched to the pupils’ ages and stages of development.
We are participating in the “Purzelbaumprojekt” of the sports department of the city of Zurich.
Our kindergarten is equipped with a climbing wall and various play elements from the project.

We study songs and stories with the children for special school events.
The kindergarten children spend their breaks and lunchtime meals together with the primary school students.
They play together outdoors, or indoors when the weather is bad.
