Full day Daycare and vacation care
We welcome children from 7.30 AM onwards. Classes start at 8.15 AM. Pick-up times are flexible: Children can be picked up any time between 3 PM and around 6 PM.
A strong community spirit characterises our day-to-day schooling. Civility, tolerance, helpfulness and mutual respect govern our relations.
On-site lunch, morning and afternoon snacks (“Znüni” and “Zvieri”) and homework support. Our team provides warm and professional extra-familial care.
We work and play together. We all eat lunch together. Everyday chores such as cooking, cleaning and organizing are integrated in a playful manner and considered an integral part of learning.
This very close contact creates a feeling of confidence and trust. The better we know and understand our pupils, the more we are able to meet them at eye level, respect their needs and particularities and develop or implement individual learning strategies.
Privatschule Firstclass is a day school with homework support.
The children do their homework every day from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at school under the supervision of the teachers.
We adhere to the city of Zurich's holiday schedule. The school remains closed during the Christmas holidays and the last three weeks of the summer holidays.
During the remaining eight weeks of the holiday, we offer vacation care with seasonal activities, such as: trips to the lake, the forest, the museum, the zoo or the adventure playground.
Playing, crafting and cooking are on the agenda in rainy weather. We charge an additional 50 francs per day for holiday care.
