A trip around the world …

A trip around the world …

Who wouldn't want that?! And travel to the most exotic places on earth - how about Australia? Madagascar? Canada? Or maybe the Arctic? Or maybe Italy? Or Brazil? Or the USA? Or maybe Fantasialand?

The children of the first class were able to experience all of this during our project week. Every day they were able to immerse themselves in a new country and a new culture and get to know them a little.

In Australia, the children got to know the Aborigines and were allowed to try out their own style of painting.

In Egypt, the children got to know the most important sights, learned important terms in the local language and baked traditional delicacies.

In the Arctic and Madagascar, the children learned about the fascinating animal world.

In the USA and Italy, children were allowed to bake and cook traditional delicacies.

In Canada, the children followed in the footsteps of the indigenous people. They learned their language and tried their hand at traditional handicrafts.

In Fantasyland - the land of fantasies - the imagination and creativity of the students were challenged.

After a successful week, all children returned to Switzerland with many new impressions.
